Santa Clara County Sheriff Candidate Forum

The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the ACLU of Northern California is co-organizing a Santa Clara County Sheriff candidate forum with several partner organizations for the upcoming Midterm Election in November 2022.  The event is virtual and is conducted via Zoom.  Please join us to hear from the candidates and to ask your questions.  Interpretation in Spanish and Vietnamese will be provided.

The Sheriff holds important powers in our criminal justice system.  The duty of the sheriff is to enforce the law fairly by apprehending individuals suspected of committing crime, as well as working to increase public safety by supervising crime prevention and rehabilitation efforts.  The Sheriff is elected by voters.
