DEMOCRACY FORUM — Who’s Watching? Safeguarding Our Privacy

Indivisible Palo Alto+ (IPA+) and Safety Over Surveillance Palo Alto (SOS) are hosting a symposium on Sunday, June 28 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm in Palo Alto entitled: “Who’s Watching? Safeguarding Our Privacy” on the topic of mass surveillance and democracy.  Our chapter is a co-sponsor of this event.

There will be a panel discussion followed by breakout sessions that explore the following topics:

• Digital Privacy
• Cameras on Our Streets: Automated License Plate Readers and Us
• Mass Surveillance and Vulnerable Populations
• Legal Protections and Remedies
