Santa Clara County District Attorney candidate forum

District Attorney (DA) plays a crucial role in our criminal justice system.  DA is also elected by the voters.  DA has the power to set the stakes by deciding whether to file charges and what charges to file, to choose whether to seek a death sentence, to give someone a second chance by directing them to treatment or rehabilitation instead of jail, to influence state policy, and to provide services to victims of crime.

Our chapter is co-organizing a candidate forum with several partner organizations for the upcoming Santa Clara County District Attorney election.  Join us to hear from the candidates and to ask your questions.  Interpretation in Spanish and Vietnamese will be provided.
